Did pretty Good Today - Fished from 12:30 to 1:30
6 Fish
1 Smallmouth -14"
2 Largemouth
2 Crappie
1 RockBass
Bass hit on a perch color deep diver Rapala
Pan FIsh hit on a small Tube jig
The wind was blowing pretty good. This is the most aggressive I have seen the bass in about 3 weeks. As I reeled in the 2 Largemouth there were 1 or 2 other bass following it up.

Wow !! Great way to make use of spare time downtown. It's terrific to see feesh like that being caught in the river running thru the Loop. :jump

I love seeing DT fish, reminds me of my bike messenger days. I kept a pack rod in my bag and just killed them some days. That strip between Navy Pier and the treatment plant has given me smallies on every cast at times. I saw a guy take a nice rainbow in front of the Merch Mart. It's not just for carpin' anymore!
