Anyone ever been fishing there? I am going to go camping there tomorrow and will definitely be fishing. Perhaps someons has any tips on what to use, where to fish?

There are three small shallow ponds that hold gills, crappies, catfish and some bass. The canal has some nice bass as well. If you fish the ponds use light gear with a crawler or waxie under slip bobber or on bottom. The canal I would cast for bass 45° to the shoreline and keep moving. Nettle Creek also runs through the park and can hold nice fish in the bends and deeper pools. It's not a fishing hotspot, but can be fun for the family.
