I'd call first.Illinois side of wolf I believe is shut down for waterfowl season.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it has been shut down. A couple years back I went there one morning in mid-October just to find it was closed

Don't waste a trip like I did.

my brother-in law and i went out sunday morning about 8:00 am. when we got close to the weed line we spooked a big northern(my brother-in law saw it first and said it was huge) in about 2ft. of water. i had on good fish on after that but lost it. dont know what it was but it had some weight to it. we left at 11:00 no more bites.
