Has anyone tried fishing there and had much luck? I teach right down the street at Richards and wonder about the fishery there.

Sherman Park lagoon is sometimes very productive. I've caught decent sized large mouth and the largest black crappie I've ever seen. I've had my best luck in the area directly south of the field house where a small sliver of land juts out into the lagoon. McKinley Park lagoon, about three miles northwest, can also be a productive spot; an energetic family of Cooper's Hawks adds to its allure.

Bring a friend to watch your back.

Don't look now because I'm really someone else.
