So what's the rules ? can I fish from my boat in IL now. What are the regulations now. Not wanting to start another debate, just wants some facts

You can legally fish. The issue is getting your boat to the water as there are currently no public launches open.

The Ramps are open in Waukegan. The gates are up and marina said not charging at this time

Wow that I did not know, I launched my boat on Wednesday after contacting them. Sorry for the incorrect info.

I will be a little more respectful in my response as I know we are all stressed and pissed off about this virus. The Ramps are open as I stated. The South rocks gates are closed to fishing. I verified this with the security officer. And no such statement were found on the harbor web sight

Waukegan Harbor - Scott Poplawski public boat launch is open. The marina is closed to the public for the duration of the mandate.

I agree ,I wonder if # 99 ever launched at Waukegan don't think I've ever read a report?

Thanks for the kind comments, unfortunately we did not get out fishing. We launched the boat and put it in the slip. I will post as soon as we get out for first trip. For now doing some social distanceing in middle of harbor lo :thanks l.

I fished Wednesday. 4 lakers. Fished from Ft Sheridan up to the Navy base. 25-30 fow. North troll 2.4-2.6 mph. Orange Dodgers and green/black flies took 3 fish on 3 color setup. One on an orange Brads with yellow stripes. Got
My boat into the marina before the governor’s press conference. Hope I can get back in!
