Done. I remember the black devils decimating the perch population in the eastern basin of Lake Ontario, with an assist from zebra mussels. Once water clarity hit 25 feet, there was no place for the perch to hide. There was a small island that went from less than 100 mating pairs to thousands. Control, not elimination, is the key.

The cormorants are worldwide, have never talked to anyone who ate one, and I seen something on tv years ago about fisherman the have them as pets and put a band around the neck so it can't eat fish then they go fishing with them and take what they catch and throw in again and again.when they come back to the boat with a fish they get a treat. I talked to Alabama professor at a fish farmers assassination and he said when permitted to take cormorants at a small pond it's for maybe only 10 cormorants for the year.No wonder we have so many birds, how they think that is going to help. :wabbit AL
