Hello all,

I purchased a depth raider and after reading the installation instructions, I have to unspool a rigger and respool with the coated cable they provide. Now does this have any affect when running the clips to the lures? Will the coating get rubbed or cut?

Thanks
Paul

What are you running the clips to? Stackers? Normally the release will go from either the back of the ball or be between the ball and rigger cable.

I run stackers a lot during the summer months, I guess could run a slider on the depth raider and stackers on the other rigger.

Thanks

Hey Paul. I use a scotty pinch pad and I clip the snap on the end of the release lanyard to the swivel on my cable terminator, which is above the probe. I've also used a Chamberlain stacker release on my coated cable without any issues.

Hi Ron,

Thanks for the information, I’m starting to over think this, so I’m going to run as mentioned in the install manual and look at the chamberlain stacker release over the Scotty stacker releases see which one works better.

I need all the help I can when competing against big dogs like you.

Regards
Paul
