Got out this am with some friends from NAFC on the good ship Five Orrs. As usual Capt. Mike kept us busy on an iffy day. Not limits but big fish. We ended up with 13 Lakers & 1 King and a couple of drive byes.
Image
"Catfish Cindy" answered the first call and it was a tussle.
Image
You can tell from the smile it was worth the fight.
Image
Next up was Brian, Cindy's son. He ain't what you would call little. He handled that Greaser like a pro.
Image
Capt. Mike kept us in good order. Here's Tom with yet another Laker.
Image
In between all this bustle, Ken " I drown Worms" Latched on to the only Silver fish of the trip. I was a nice sized King. The only pic I have of both is with the brag board.
I made the most of my turns at bat reeling in three nice size Lakers.
Image
Long about the time Cindy got into another good fish the second line went off and Tom took up the challenge. No sooner than I said one more for a triple and the fire alarm went off. I got one hooked up that was by that time the furthest out.

Here's Tom Showing his part of the triple dipper.

As we were folding things up and yucking it up about 13 fish on Friday the 13th, First mate Jack say's, there's a fish on this one. Cindy's son Brian did the honors and Capt. Mike set a course for safe harbor.
I had a great time with some old pals and got to limber up the ole arms for next week's Lake Erie excursion.

Even though the coho are not hot and heavy right now, it's nice to see a lot of trips producing some good Spring rod benders. Great photos, thanks for sharing!

:gpost As usual John. You always come up with the fish and love the reports. Might be a good thing you didn't catch one more big honker- that board might be a lot lower on your end- Good to see you're getting you're muscles in tone after the winter layoff

Excuse me, but I thought you were only allowed two lakers per person. Please correct me if I'm wrong!

Five in the picture plus the Captain and first mate. That's a total of 7 people on board and 14 total fish are hanging.

Thanks! I didn't realize all those people were on board. I appreciate the explanation.
