A boat name really will depend on who you are. Boat names are not just names they are a short title to repersent the owner and boat. Tell us a little about your self as it releates to the boat. THings like how did you decide to get the boat.

Here is a place to browse around
http://www2.10000boatnames.com/index.ph ... Itemid=104

One thing I aways liked was a shield shaped badge on the side of the boat with SALMON PATROL in side of the badge.

Oh man you gotta be original and not romantic here and please don't put your girls name on it. Here are two of the best I ever saw.
"Screaming Seamen", you gotta say it fast. The girls will love it.
"At the Office", so when they as where you are or were. And this was well before the show.

What a couple of "Hams" you guys are- and I associate with youssee guys??? :shock

If you were British I'd suggest HM Dangler or HMS Dangler - kind of formal, but not "Hammy"

How about "The Haul" a play on The Union Hall and a big box of fish. Honey I'm going to" the haul". She'll think your looking for work and you'll be out chasing tail!

Boat names really are something personal that should represent something about the owner. I've owned a lot of watercraft but only two boats worth naming.

The first boat name was "To The Point" because back in NJ, and fishing the salt, one of the best spots was Sandy Hook Point. My boat was a simple, down to earth, fishing boat.....nothing more, nothing less and often we were off to fish the Point. Hense the name "Too the Point"

The second boat, my current dual console was named by my wife, with a little help from me. We found a boat we liked, a price that was fair and then kept adding options, equipment, etc., etc., etc. My wife said this boat is costing a lot more than we expected and maybe we got in a little over our heads. Well we were in deep, in too deep in fact and that became our boat's name, "In Too Deep".

Find something that represents you, tells a story and run with it. I'm sure you'll find the perfect name.

Best wishes.
