Finally after about 5 attempts and we made it to North Point on May 15. Motored out of the harbor at 0600. Heat straight out to 185 FOW. Couple of other boats were already there. Paul is the setup man. He set 2 DR's (100 and 80ft), 3 dipsy's, and one board. Had 4 different colors of flies, red colored brad thin fin, and one medium spoon. First coho came around 0640, followed in quick succession by two others. Trolled around in 210 FOW with no action. Headed back in to 185 FOW and picked up a couple of more. By 0945 we had 8 cohos and need the final 2 for a 2 man limit. Continued to motor in towards 165 FOW and got the final two. Headed towards to harbor at 1045. Two best lures were the red colored brad thin fin (3 fish) and black & green colored howie fly(4 fish). All but three strands of tinsel were left on this fly. Nice trip. To the 3 guys from Minnesota, good luck on the rest of your trip!!!!
By the way when I got home, I was reminded it was my wedding anniversary of 35 years. I have some begging and honey do's now. Just my thoughts. WAZOO54
